UK based producer, Nosa Igbinedion premieres the trailer for the soon-to-be released movie, ‘Oya: Rise of the Orisha’. The project has been a hard-work of love for the Nigerian native, who produces, writes and directs the upcoming short film.

The Orisha is similar to the Roman and Greek deities reverenced in places such as Trinidad, Cuba and Brazil as well as on the African continent. In this fast paced action packed movie, ‘Oya’ is introduced as the mystical goddess of change as she embarks on a very dangerous mission to save her innocent ones from the forces of evil. ‘Oya’ takes these beloved ancient deities and fuses their stories with modern super hero culture.
The film has reached the final stage of production and the release date will be announced soon.
