Any woman will tell you that she experiences one sexist remark or the other everyday. From colleagues or bosses at work to people trying to sell you things in the market – sometimes even from service workers.
In an interesting turn around, Leah Green of The Guardian goes undercover in London to see just how unsuspecting men react to sexist situations when the roles are reversed. The situations showcased are often experienced by women – rude catcalls, outrageous hitting on, unbelievable questions, lousy comments and more. The video shows just how it feels to be harassed by these sexist remarks, seen from a woman to a man.
The video is directed and actor by Leah Green and recorded by Tom Silverstone. According to The Guardian, all scenes from the video are based on real encounters as reported by women to @EverydaySexism.
