CaptureEveryone is trying to be a part of the #BringBackOurGirls movement in the best ways possible and over the past week international celebrities and public figures have taken to social media while a lot of Nigerian celebrities have taken to protests and rallies.

NdaniTV has gone a step further to produce a powerful video that is both a message and a mini documentary of the #BringBackOurGirls campaign.

Capture1 Capture3NdaniTV’s message is as follows:

On April 15th, 2014 over 200 school girls were abducted from their school in Chibok, Borno State. The whole world is swirling with questions and though our hearts are heavy, we stand in solidarity with their families to say #BringBackOurGirls!!!

The history books will remember
how a group of girls the size of a small tribe vanished
like a twisted kind of hide and seek
how we began our counting a little late
imagined them giggling in their hiding places
like the games we play when we were just little girls
when we were sure that somebody would always find us
no matter how far we went
no matter how dark the night

So if 200 is too high a number to count to
let start at one
the apple of a father’s eye
the one with her mother’s smiling face
the class clown
the one that could have been a doctor

So what if we called them by name
what if we imagined our own daughters waiting
counting on the fact that we would turn
the whole world over just to bring them back home
counting on our numbers
sure that we would gather by the thousands
at least by the hundreds just to bring them back

So if 200 is too high a number to stand with
why don’t we start at one
