Queen of rap Nicki Minaj has released the video for her new single “Fly”.
The single features Rihanna, who also makes an appearance in the video, which premiered on the night of the Video Music Awards, Sunday 28th.
The video is set in a supposed post apocalyptic world, but really it just looks like a neighborhood which has recently suffered a plane crash…
In terms of clothing, Rihanna sets the pace again, showcasing the work of experimental designers, the Mulleavy sisters of Rodarte. Nicki Minaj on the other hand decided on a structured pink PVC mini dress and several hair changes.
Fashion aside, the video does not say much about the song and actually leaves you wondering where the meaning of the song and the concept for the video met.
