Just in case you do not know who he is, Sir James Paul McCartney, MBE (born 18 June 1942) is an English musician, singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and composer. With John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr, he gained worldwide fame as a member of the Beatles. Now I am sure that group if not the artist surely rings a bell and will for decades to come.
Paul McCartney recently recounted his experience when he travelled to Nigeria and how Fela Anikulapo Kuti thought a ‘white man’ had landed the country to steal his music as Paul listened to the instrumentation of the late great musician’s song ‘Why black men dey suffer.’
