Rita Ora
Rita Ora, born Rita Sahatciu Ora on 26 November 1990 is a British singer, songwriter and actress. Rita’s family moved to London when she was still a baby and she has lived there almost all her life. Ora began singing at the age of 14 and kicked off her career by appearing in a British film called “Spivs”. Later in 2007, She had her first taste of fame on Craig David’s single Awkward. In 2009, she caught the attention of Jayz who signed her to her to his label Roc Nation. She spent the following years working with the best people in the industry such as The Dream and Ester Dean to craft her first album. To increase her popularity, she released viral videos of herself working on the album.
In 2012, She released her debut studio album Ora which topped the chart at number one in the United Kingdom with singles like ‘R.I.P’ becoming her first solo Uk number one and ‘How We Do Party’ reached number one in the UK and Ireland . Ora became the artist with the most number one singles on the UK Singles chart. The first single from her second album ‘I will never let you down’ debuted atop the UK singles chart in 2014, making Ora the second British solo female artist to score four UK number ones after Geri Halliwell.
Rita however might just be more famous for making fashion statements and oozing a sort of stylish charm anywhere she goes.
