Check out the evening’s most-noteworthy ensembles and our favorite fashionistas and sartorially savvy gents posing on the red carpet in high-fashion looks.

Sophie Ellis-Bextor

Sophie Ellis-Bextor

She wore a WilliamVintage ice blue satin frock complemented with a pink clutch and a pink and white polka-dot pair of shoes. We love her pumps and they give her outfit life.

Mary Charteris

Mary Charteris

Mary Charteris wore a purple lace dress and while her outfit is a romantic look we love how she went Goth with her jewelry. Her lip ring and her finger rings are FAB.

Georgina Chapman

Georgina Chapman

Georgina Chapman wore a Marchesa Spring 2014 floral printed dress with shoulder and hem tulle draping. We also love the detailing on her shoes.

Lorraine Candy

Lorraine Candy

Lorraine Candy in her Peter Pilotto dress had us smiling. We love prints and as such fell in love with the dress – we also love how she toned down the outfit with clean makeup and white pumps.

Karolina Kurkova

Karolina Kurkova

Karolina Kurkova was a delight to see on the red carpet. The Czech supermodel brought some ferociousness to the proceedings wearing a Fyodor Golan Fall 2014 frock. Black Christian Louboutin ‘Pigalle’ pumps and onyx earrings rounded out her look.

Poppy Delevingne

Poppy Delevingne

Poppy Delevingne confirmed her status as a trend-setter by wearing an Emilia Wickstead Fall 2014 outfit seen only just a few days ago on a London Fashion Week catwalk. The cropped lace high-necked long sleeve top with mid-length pencil skirt was a nice look.

Nick Grimshaw

Nick Grimshaw

While Nick Grimshaw stands as one of our best looks for the night (mostly because of his shoes), we’ll have loved to see a bit more colour on him.

David Gandy

David Gandy

David opted for a British high-street retailer wearing a classic windowpane Marks & Spencer three-piece suit styled with a white dress shirt, grey tie and matching pocket square.

Tinie Tempah

Tinie Tempah

To collect his UK Recording Artist Of The Year award Tinie wore a manly magenta Dolce & Gabbana double-breasted suit, styled with a black bow-tie and loafers. It’s a bold look. Not many guys would even attempt to pull it off but he makes it work.

Chloe Norgaard

Chloe Norgaard

We are here for the denim+sequins+leopard print+ripped jeans – how does one combine all that and still look glam? Plus those neon orange shoes, we love!

Daisy Lowe

Daisy Lowe

We’ve been seeing a lot of menswear-inspired outfits lately. Daisy wore a Saint Laurent suit to the Elle Style Awards. A bun perched on top of her head and a bold berry lip rounded out her look.

Lily Allen

Lily Allen

Lily opted for a drastically different look in a chic black Roland Mouret Resort 2014 gown. The classic floor-length gown with angular neckline could have been a somewhat average choice for Lily, but the singer certainly ensured she put her own edgy spin on it. With a dramatic short fringe and long pointed pewter nails, Lily added a tonal blue Chanel clutch to lift this dress from simple to fantastic.

Charlotte Dellal

Charlotte Dellal

Charlotte Dellal of Charlotte Olympia offset a conservative suit with a leopard hair accessory and her own accoutrements including a Kitty Square Acrylic Box Clutch and Dolly pumps. She chose a great way to uplift an otherwise plain look!

Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding

Wearing a satin and star lace sheer paneled jumpsuit from Matthew Williamson’s Fall 2014 collection, Ellie brought a heavy dose of rock’n’roll edge to the occasion. Ellie’s hair was typically undone but this adds a cool-girl edginess to the jumpsuit. We would have loved to see bold red lips on Ellie though.

Laura Mvula

Laura Mvula

Laura Mvula has continued to announced her presence on the red carpet with bold looks. Even though this is an all-black-ensemble, the outfit works for her with the turtle neck and sheer detail.

Jordan Dunn

Jordan Dunn

Tom Ford was a popular choice for the night. Previously worn by Jennifer Lopez, Jourdan Dunn went for this rather magnificent black and white leather body con Tom Ford Spring 2014 mini dress. Jourdan’s super glossy hair and a cool smoky eye ensured her styling was subtly sexy without being too done.

Barbara Palvin

Barbara Palvin

Model Barbara Palvin was menswear-inspired in a black suit and turtleneck. The simplicity of this look was refreshing.

Katy Perry

Katy Perry

Katy chose iconic British designer Vivienne Westwood to accept her Elle Woman of the Year award. The Gold Label Capsule Collection ‘Prestige’ dress in silk ivory rose print is cut exceptionally, the floral print is light, feminine and pretty which helps from over-dramatizing the look. To finish, Katy added Christian Louboutin ‘Body Strass’ jeweled pumps for a contemporary spin and a red polish to channel some retro Elizabeth Taylor glamour.

Rita Ora

Rita Ora

Rita Ora made a show-stopping appearance on the red carpet of the Elle Style Awards 2014. Wearing a white floor-length Marchesa Fall 2014 gown with an embroidered body and layered tulle skirt, Rita ensured all eyes were on her. She completed her look with slicked back hair and bold red lips.

Suki Waterhouse

Suki Waterhouse

Suki opted for a Burberry Prorsum burgundy blazer over a black floor-length gown. This is an elegant look and we think her hair and make-up are perfectly polished.

Jessie J

Jessie J

Wearing a figure-hugging Tom Ford Spring 2014 fuchsia mini dress with swirling cut-out details and dramatic thigh-high lace-up boots, Jessie made sure all eyes were on her. We think the dress on its own is actually quite stunning and cut with great skill so maybe she should have opted for pumps instead of boots.

Arizona Muse

Arizona Muse

The Estee Lauder model wore a sleeveless Burberry Prorsum white cotton macramé shell dress styled with an ivory satin Smythson mini ‘Floating’ envelope clutch with a gold trim, and Messika earrings.

Cara Delevingne

Cara Delevingne

Cara went for a playful look for the night. She showed some leg in a kimono-style LBD that wasn’t so little and carried a Mulberry bag.

Emma Watson

Emma Watson

Wearing a Spring 2014 Couture dress by certified red carpet favourite Giambattista Valli, Emma encapsulated modern glamour. With a daring the mini length, contrasting texture and bold cut, this was a strong choice and we love the architectural shape. A pair of classic pointed Christian Louboutin ‘So Kate’ pumps, a Sophie Bille Brah ear cuff, rings by Bouchoron and Catbird and a chic red lip finished off her look.

Helen Lasichanh & Pharrell Williams

Helen Lasichanh & Pharrell Williams

Stylish couple Helen and Pharell are easily our best look of the night. Pharell went for a head-to-toe Lanvin Pre-Fall 2014 look consisting of a black leopard effect tuxedo blazer with satin peak lapels, and black-and-green two-tone cropped trousers. His white cotton tuxedo shirt with accented pearl buttons and styled with a signature black bow-tie, with black leather derbies round out his look. Helen Lasichanh also wore a pink Lanvin tuxedo with white ankle strap pumps.
