FAB Pick: Which is Your Best Rendition of the Nigerian National Anthem? – Tiwa Savage’s, Nikki Laoye’s, Beyonce’s or Michelle William’s?

Tiwa 1

The Nigerian National Anthem, though simple and straight forward remains an honorable classic!

Nikki

Individual music acts though have found it a really interesting number and have over the years rendered their own unique versions to it.

Bey

From MAVIN Records first lady and superstar Ife Wa Gbona crooner, Tiwa Savage to emerging singer and the beautiful voice behind the Only You title, Nikki Laoye, to international acts: Beyonce and Michelle Williams (both of the girl group, destiny’s child), the national anthem resounds in such soothing rhythm from these four individual acts but let’s see if you can pick your best rendition. Tough decision, yes, I know. Try though!

Michelle

While we love and appreciate the effort put in reproducing this tune, at the same time cherishing the purpose for it, we’d still love for you to listen to the four versions below one after the other and tell which you love best.

Tiwa Savage‘s in October 2012

Nikki Laoye‘s in June 2013

Beyonce‘s in February 2009

Michelle William‘s in December 2012

So which is your best? Whose version got to you the most? Do let us know

Love nikki’s version, tiwa did great, beyonce was obviously tired, michelle chose a high key so she couldn’t express well! Btw nikki and tiwa for me

  2. linda says:

Nikki and Tiwa did it for me! Beyonce just surprised us that she knew the song and Michelle struggled

  3. beyonce's fan says:
