By now you are probably already aware that GQ Magazine has declared Beyoncé the sexiest woman of the 21st century and the magazine’s February cover shoot her sexiest shoot to date. While we admit yummy mummy looks pretty fierce and FAB here, when it is Queen Bey, the options for the sexiest image are endless, so we decided to take you down a memory lane through news stands and have a look at the singer’s hottest magazines covers and see what needs no further proof: Mrs. Carter is all sorts of sexy.

With a barely there scarf for a top and tiny shorts, Destiny’s Child front woman may look more ghetto than fab but we will let her off considering 2001 was the height of the Ghetto Fab.


Midriff Sexy W May 2002

Peasant-meets-metallic top is still lightyears away from the polished looks Beyoncé sports these days but it was still early days for the young singer and her tanned and toned washboard stomach was did much of the posing on magazine covers.


Golden Sexy – Maxim September 2002

Golden locks, golden complexion, golden outfit and a gold backdrop. Gold overdose? Remember though, these were the days of Goldmember so we’ll overlook the fashion faux pas. We are sure Maxim’s male readers did in favour of the now famous midriff and the killer curves.

Following in the footsteps of Tyra Banks, Beyoncé became the second black woman to cover the Sports Illustrated “Swimsuit Issue” and what a job she did in a yellow and pink bikini, her megawatt smile and beach babe locks.
