Kelly Rowland is actually showing us the stuff she is made off for her forthcoming record. Seems she has gotten tired of the House and Trance music inspired tracks of her previous album. Or someone is just tired of working with David Guetta? Maybe so. She has gone back to the old Kelly we knew back in Destiny’s Child and when she broke out with that solo smash single, ‘Stole’ in 2002. She is about to release new single titled, ‘Dirty Laundry’, which is reportedly about an abusive relationship she suffered after breaking away from Destiny’s Child.
Apparently before the performance of the track at one of the biggest music festivals, ‘River Fest’ in Little Rock Arkansas (Home of Rock Band Evanescence, if you are familiar with your rock), she said, ‘I felt like I could share that with y’all is that okay? Was it too much? I don’t think anything has ever hit a chord like that with me in the studio but tonight I am so happy to be sharing the song for the first time with you. Keep in mind that I’m an artist, and I’m sensitive about my sh*t so if you see something roll down my face, don’t judge me, just love me, okay?’ Someone was referencing Ms Erykah Badu there, (Go and listen to her jam, ‘Call Tyrone’ if you are not sure what she meant). An official video for ‘Dirty Laundry’ will be released in the next weeks, check out the touching performance below.
