One of Britain’s leading female property investors and business mentor Caroline Mrsh is another stellar name to lend her support to UK-based social enterprise iROCK for their first London fundraiser Tribes of Africa scheduled for Saturday 26 May 2012.

The property tycoon of Zambian descent was catapulted into the media limelight when she was featured on primetime Channel 4 television as a philanthropic ‘Secret Millionaire’. As a businesswoman whose journey towards financial freedom was kick-started by Steve Bolton, a multi-millionaire property investor and serial entrepreneur, Caroline is a firm believer of the power of mentoring and has supported iROCK! UK since its inception.

“iROCK! UK reonated with me because it was about making a difference for the younger generation. I’ve got children myself and I know the challenges of raising children in the UK. It was seeing what her programme was about and what it was doing for young people that really got me interested. As a mentor myself, I believe in the power of not telling somebody but actually hand-holding somebody and showing them the way and this is why I support iROCK,” said Caroline Marsh.

“We are honoured to have the support of not only an amazing woman but also an inspirational business leader and mentor. The fact that iROCK is garnering the support of women like Caroline who are successful leaders just further affirms the iROCK ethos – mentoring young people to write their own success stories with the help of those who have written theirs,” said Viola Ncube, the founder of iROCK! UK.

Taking place this Saturday at the Grange Tower Bridge Hotel in the heart of the city, Tribes of Africa promises to bring the ‘who’s who’ of the African diaspora together in support of iROCK! UK, which aims to provide young people of ethnic backgrounds with work placement and employment opportunities.

The event will be a true celebration of Africa with a complimentary African brew cocktail reception, 4-course African fusion dinner, goody bags and a high profile fashion show with designers representing diverse influences of Africa.
