Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde is on a roll! Yes she was reported as being one of the most influential people in the world by TIME magazine and accolades both local and international have since not stopped for the amazing Nollywood actress. She was honoured at the recently held Music Video and Screen Awards (MVISA) at the 7th Birmingham International Film Festival where she received the Ebony Vanguard Award for an impressive movie career which she debuted in 1995. Omotola looked regal in her Roooi couture dress as she picked up the award.
The event was held at ICC conference centre in Birmingham and hosted by actor, Chukky Venn and Actress, Lorna Laidlaw.
Dean Alexander, founder of the festival and Award said:
‘Omotola is not only one of the most influential people in the world, she is indeed one of the most inspiring.’
