Dele Momodu, Publisher of lifestyle magazine, Ovation, as well as political candidate and one-time Presidency candidate, took to social media platform Twitter a few hours ago to express his thoughts concerning the actions (and should-be-actions) of President Goodluck Jonathan – especially in the current predicaments of the nation.
Dele Momodu stated on his Twitter ways in which he thinks the nation can move forward together as well as ways in which President Goodluck Jonathan can make the best of the current situation of insurgency in Nigeria.
Read his 10-step action plan below:
I will propose the following: 1. The time has come for Oga Jona to reconcile with the entire nation & stop seeing imaginary enemies!
— Dele Momodu (@DeleMomodu) July 20, 2014
2. Oga Jona should see himself as a Nigerian & not a sectional leader & feel comfortable in every part of Nigeria! — Dele Momodu (@DeleMomodu) July 20, 2014
3. Oga Jona should ignore all those using scaremongering to isolate him from certain parts of Nigeria & go out boldly to confront terror!
— Dele Momodu (@DeleMomodu) July 20, 2014
4. A Commander-in-Chief cannot cede parts of his country to terrorists & Oga Jonathan as our Field Marshall must personally lead this war! — Dele Momodu (@DeleMomodu) July 20, 2014
5. OGA Jonathan should worry less about his re-election; the God that made him number one in a country of 170m people will protect him!
— Dele Momodu (@DeleMomodu) July 20, 2014
6. The race for 2015 seems to have distracted & totally consumed Oga Jona at a time Nigeria is at its worst state since the Civil War! — Dele Momodu (@DeleMomodu) July 20, 2014
7. Oga Jona as a Christian should emulate Christ & Mandela by learning to forgive & embrace than fighting a debilitating war of attrition!
— Dele Momodu (@DeleMomodu) July 20, 2014
8. Oga Jona should plead with his self-appointed defenders of the faith to cool temper as they amass enemies for him with their crudity! — Dele Momodu (@DeleMomodu) July 20, 2014
9. Elections are won via visible performance, subtle persuasion & not by acts of abusing & violating the rights of freedom of Association!
— Dele Momodu (@DeleMomodu) July 20, 2014
10. What shall it profit a leader who conquers the world “but struts & frets it’s hour upon the stage” (Shakespeare) signifying nothing! — Dele Momodu (@DeleMomodu) July 20, 2014
