Mathilde Amivi Petitjean is a cross country Niger born Skier who will compete for  Togo at the annual Winter Olympics for the 10km classical race. Mathilde was contacted via Facebook in May last year by the Togolese Skiing Federation to represent their country. She was flag bearer for Togo at the opening ceremony.

Togo is to compete at the Winter Olympic producing two outstanding athletes, Alessia Afi Dipol and Mathilde. Allessia is an Italian turned Togolese who is  to compete for the Alpine Skiing category while Mathide Amvi Petitjean is competing for the cross country division.

Mathilde was bred in Hauteur-Savoie, France where she learned to ski. Mahtilde represented France at the Junior level before switching to Togo for the 2013/2014 season.
