After two successful editions of the Open Mic theatre, the popular show will be holding its third edition on 3rd December 2011. Tagged the Christmas edition, the edition will have ‘Nigerian Theatre Classics’ as its theme.
“We are very happy that Open Mic theatre is becoming a staple for lovers of theatre and the arts in the country. With the last edition, we had a large turnout. This time around, we expect no less”, said Kemi Akindoju who is the organizer of the show.
For this edition, performers would be required to do excerpts from any Nigerian classics of their choice. Expected to thrill guests on that evening will be; Kate Henshaw, Nse Ikpe-Etim, Wale Ojo, Oc Ukeje, Najite Dede, Lala Akindoju, Omonor Somolu, Paul Alumona, Bikiya Graham-Douglas, Uzo Osimkpa, Omoye Uzamere, Kenneth Uphopho and many other artistes.
This edition will hold on Saturday December 3 2011 at The Life House, 33 Sinari Daranijo Street, off Younis Bashorun Street off Ajose Adeogun Victoria Island Lagos at 6:00 pm.
