Congratulations, Ciara! The “Body Party” singer confirmed her and fiancé Future are expecting and showed off her baby bump The View today. Cohost Jenny McCarthy tweeted a picture of herself and the mum-to-be, writing, “Congrats to my girl @ciara so happy for your bun in the oven.”
The 28-year-old singer hid her baby bump beneath her voluminous Saint Lauren cape dress for her entire interview until Barbara Walters asked her if she wanted to confirm or deny the news, which saw Ciara stand up and reveal her baby bump. The rumours that Ciara may be pregnant began back in October 2013 when Ciara started opting for baggy clothes instead of the crop tops she often favours to show off her washboard stomach.
“I’m so excited for this year,” Ciara explained on show — and what a year it will be, with a wedding and a baby on the way!
