Forbes Magazine has released its list of the 50 Richest Africans 2013. Nigerian industrialist Aliko Dangote is placed at No.1 with a net worth of $20 billion. It is reported that in 2003, Forbes could only list two billionaires in Africa in the persons of Nicky Oppenheimer and Johann Rupert, both of South African. However today, Nigerians including Mike Adenuga, Jim Ovia and Folorunsho Alakija are on the list.
