The rumour mill is rife with a heart shredding news for Real Madrid, Spanish newspaper Punto Pelota is reporting that Jose Mourinho disclosed to a gathering of 56 trainers at Canillas, the club where his goalkeeping son plays that he will be leaving the Bernabeu at the end of the football season.
Madrid’s loss, if the news turns out to be true, might prove to be Chelsea’s gain, as soccer pundits believe that the maverick gaffer wishes to make a return to Stanford Bridge next season.
Mourinho held a face-to-face meeting with Chelsea’s billionaire owner in Portugal last month at the residence of agent Jorge Mendes, but what the trio discussed was not made public.
At the Cantilas coaching summit, organisers while bidding the substantive coach of Madrid farewell asked him if he would be back next year.
Mourinho replied thus: Come next year it will be difficult. Next year I will not be here.”
PSG is also said to be interested in securing his services if he indeed leaves Madrid.
