Oprah Winfrey celebrates her 6oth birthday today and earlier in the day we put up her birthday message of inspiration to her fans, if you missed it you can read it up here.
To round up the day for Oprah, we are taking a look at her style evolution and a few of her red carpet looks that we loved the most. A lot of people see Oprah as an inspirational figure for woman and for blacks, but more than that we also celebrate this wonderful lady for always looking well put together on the red carpet.
One of our best looks of Oprah is from the recently held Critics’ Choice Movie Awards. The TV host wore an emerald green Azzedine Alaia dress, belted at the waist to accentuate her hourglass shape, which she styled with Lorraine Schwartz jewels.
Another favourite of ours was worn at a surprise farewell ceremony for the “Oprah Show”. The TV host wore Lorraine Schwartz jewels with her custom L’Wren Scott deep purple crepe gown which was embellished with turquoise and black floral embroidery.
Oprah wearing this Badgley Mischka deep blue dress with a cute brooch at the 2014 Screen Actors Guild Awards is yet another red carpet glam.
In the picture above, Oprah Winfrey is wearing an Escada fall 2013 ‘Dolma’ dress at Lee Daniels’ ‘The Butler’ Special Screening ” at The Hearst Tower on July 31, 2013 in New York City. Oprah’s 3/4 length Escada Bodycon dress is made from compact scuba flannel jersey material and features a tri-color light grey, gun metal, and black color block design giving off a slim effect. She accessorized with silver hoop earrings, bracelets, and black peep-toe pumps. Smokey eye, glossy lips, and her signature puff up curly hair finish her look.
