Naomi Campbell was recently in Ghana and now we know why she was there, or at least one of them. Naomi used Ghana as a backdrop for her fashion editorial for W Magazine‘s Global Style November Issue. The editorial aims to recreate USA’s first lady, Michelle Obama‘s fashion style notebook and Naomi pulls off her best impression of a stylish First Lady for the magazine’s fashion spread titled “Naomi Campbell: The First Lady of Fashion“.
The photos taken in Accra, Ghana; including the University of Ghana (Legon), The National Theatre, Movenpick Hotels, MarketSquare amongst other locations. Style Editor for W magazine, Edward Enninful said:
“It’s a tribute to a modern day First Lady on a state trip, evoking the kind of timeless style that could have existed in the 1940′s, 60′s, or even today”.
