KESH is the pop culture icon that’s taking the fashion world by storm. A blogger and artist, KESH with her use of bold lines and shapes to clarify imagery into playful yet powerful minimalist graphics, producing an instantly recognisable aesthetic has managed to garner popular and critical acclaim.
KESH a British native based in LA recently collaborated with American Apparel, where American Apparel present garments by KESH. Pieces being produced as limited edition only, and boy have they managed to gather a following – from the likes of artists Azealia Banks and Jessie J, models Jourdan Dunn and Cara Delevigne and 2NEI a South Korean girl band.
The twelve piece collection consists of American Apparel basics all emblazoned with the graphic black and white stripes and evil eyes. Of her line, the artist said to Style.com “I want everyone to wear my clothes! Well, maybe not your average Joe walking down the street that has no idea who I am,” she joked. “But I have a really diverse following, from high-end fashionistas to students in Michigan. That’s what I love most about my work.”
