Seems perhaps Naomi Campbell and Iman’s collaboration to end racism in mainstream fashion is working. Back in 2013, when Italian fashion house Prada selected Kenyan model Malaika Firth for its Fall 2013 campaign, we were delighted to see the brand cast their first black model in 20 years. This time around for their Spring 2014 campaign, Prada has selected yet another black model in the shape of Cindy Bruna.

Firth, on the other hand, has since scored a spot in Burberry’s Spring 2014 campaign.

This is not all though. Italian fashion designer Phillipp Plein has not picked just one but a whole host of black models for his Spring 2014 campaign. Check out the beautiful campaign photos and video below.

Let’s hope 2014 proves the dawn of a new era which sees more black models get high fashion gigs.

Its the only decent/business like thing to do since African peoples are hell bent on giving them their money!

Does PRADA want a trophy for this? I should think not!
