One of the FAB models in the running for Miss Flavour 2011 walked the catwalk at our FABulous Stylish Day event held in August at RS Lounge… Meet Ami Anselle…

Born in Kinshasa , Democratic Republic of Congo to a Congolese Christian mother and Malian Muslim father Ami moved to France with her mom at a tender age. Armed with a degree in communication Ami decided to boost her modelling career and decided to leave France for London where “the fashion is way more free and cosmopolitan than in France’ says Ami who believes there are more opportunities for young black women in the UK.
Since moving to London and becoming a Miss flavour Finalist Ami has worked with a lot of different great photographers and fashion designers in amazing venues and has just achieved and concluded her first London fashion week walking the runway for some amazing brands.

Ami says she likes to try to do as much work as possible to open doors for her in this industry. She loves modeling and enjoys being on a shoot or on a catwalk. She says she is aware that a modeling career is not forever and hopes that with a career like this she will be able tocreate her own fashion company and most importantly her own charity back home. She has been inspired by the French model Katoucha who used her notoriety to create her own charity in Guinea before she sadly passed away. Ami is enjoying everything in the present and doing everything possible now to achieve her dreams. The sky is her only limit to succeed.
