Love is in the air, and Abuja will no doubt be feeling the love this valentine season as top celebrities and comedians are joining forces to bring to you one of the most romantic nights ever. Nigerian’s own comedian, Julius Agwu is bringing together artists and comedians for an event tagged, The Festival Of Love: An Evening of Romantic Love Songs, Couples’ Games and Great Comedies for Lovers. Sounds absolutely incredible, right?
Julius Agwu also seems to be doing the show for other reasons besides valentines, he says love is what Nigerians need right now to lift their spirits, and put an end all the unfortunate incident that has been plaguing the country.
“We came up with Festival of Love last year as an avenue to preach love as the only element that can save our nation at this point. We also want couples to come out and re-ingnite their love life. Love is actually going to be celebrated in a festive manner. That is why we called it Festival of Love,” Julius said.
This year’s edition of Festival of Love will feature Nigerian’s top artistes including 2Face, eLDee Da Don, Timi Dakolo, J’odie, W4 while the comedy acts would see comedians like Osama, Akpororo, Lepacious Bose, Triple White and few others.
The event takes place at Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja, on the 11th of February, 2012 and starts at 5:00pm. Tickets cost N6,000 (single), N10, 000 (double) and N300, 000 (Table).
