Yvonne ‘Vixen’ Ekwere, STV‘s E-Weekly presenter possesses that inner vibe that has endeared fans to her. And now she extends the creativity that flows within her veins to a phenomenal photo shoot she recently had.
The energetic TV personality chose to get involved in this photo shoot to depict the character of’ ‘Rashida’- one she finds very impressive and mostly because the character she decided to play, represents a woman who is true to her roots and different.
The shoot eventually evolves into paying homage to the late Afrobeat King, Fela Anikulapo Kuti. Yvonne had always adored his dancers from way back when she was much younger especially the Kalakuta Queens, hence the photo shoot. She was shot by photographer, Obi Somto and styled by Zebra Living.
Being the ‘Vixen’ that she is, Yvonne plans on launching projects of her own that are scheduled for 2013 including her website which will be coming on soon. You will get to see more exclusive photos once the site debuts.
