The No More Drama singer is being accused by VEW (Vision Entertainment Worldwide) for allegedly bailing out on a concert she was supposed to perform at in Dallas on the 9th of December. So they opted to sue her. VEW claims that Mary J. Blige was paid $145, 000 deposit to appear at the show she agreed to perform but unfortunately, never showed up.
Now guess the culprit responsible – as it were – Mick Jagger! VEW is claiming Blige abandoned her commitments to them because she got a bigger and better offer to perform at the Barclays Center with Mick and the Rolling Stones on the 8th of December.
Unfortunately for Blige, VEW standing their ground, insisting on suing her for breach of contract and more, demanding at least &145, 000 in damages. The singer’s publicist, Karynne Tencer however, told TMZ, “Mary J did not breach any contract for a Dallas concert last December. Any claim to the contrary is false.
No More Drama, Mary, please.
This isn’t good news for the singer’s reputation. We only hope it doesn’t blow up in her face and that this issue is resolved.
