It seems Kim Kardashian and Kanye West just enjoy trending and couldn’t take a week’s break from being on the news for this or that. Well this time, it’s in relation to the claims by a Canadian model, Leyla Ghobadi (24) who claimed that Kanye West cheated on Kim with her even after the couple announced they were expecting a baby.
Leyla who says that her relationship with Kanye began in July 2012 after she met the pop star in one of his concerts and he asked to meet with her later backstage, insists also that Kanye had dismissed the thought of his relationship with the TV reality star, Kim Kardashian and considered it to be “for publicity and nothing serious”.

Puzzled on why she had to reveal such weighty information at the peak of Kim‘s pregnancy, the model said to the public; “If I were Kim and about to have a baby, I would want to know”. She even claimed that Kanye contacted her just last weekend to meet up but being fully aware of Kim‘s pregnancy, Leyla had said she refused, admitting that; “I would never do that to someone”.
Despite her claims, Kanye, through a rep told TMZ; “This most recent attack on Kanye West and his family is totally without merit. It’s a blatant attempt by a misguided individual who is clearly seeking publicity, and another in a series of malicious stories drummed up by non-credible ‘news’ sources. This is a sad attempt to hurt two people trying to live their lives.”
Well in addition to the above confirmation by Kanye, in an interview published in The New Yor Times speak about the only woman in his life, his career and forthcoming controversial album, Yeezus to drop on the 18th of June, his soon-to-be-born baby and why he opted out of the reality show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

Of Kim, he admitted, “Any woman that you’re in love with or that loves you is going to command a certain amount of, you know, energy. It’s actually easier to focus, in some ways. I’m the type of rock star that likes to have a girlfriend, you know? I’m the type of soul that likes to be in love and likes to be able to focus. And that inspires me.”
And on parenting, he aired his thoughts; “One of the things was just to be protective, that I would do anything to protect my child or my child’s mother.” He also admits he hasn’t “fully developed those thoughts yet. I don’t have a kid yet.” And when he finally does have one, same kid he and Kim are expecting, he will be quick to protect the child from media scrutiny and America’s prying eyes. “Well, I just don’t want to talk to America about my family. Like, this is my baby. This isn’t America’s baby”, he bluntly replies.

Kanye also opened up on why he stopped appearing on his baby mama’s family TV reality series, Keeping Up With the Kardashians. After he got that much overwhelmingly disapproving remarks from critics and fans alike for the scene they perceived him to be overbearing on his girlfriend (that scene he helped revamp her wardrobe, influencing her dress sense), that was like a wake up call to distance himself from appearing so much on the show or appearing at all. His confession; “That was from a place of love. It’s hard when people read things in a lot of different ways. You know, the amount of backlash I got from it is when I decided not to be on the show anymore. And it’s not that I have an issue with the show; I just have an issue with the amount of backlash that I get. Because I just see like, an amazing person that I’m in love with that I want to help.”

Kim and Kanye (Kimye) seem quite an unshakeable couple who will stand by each other. So one quick advice to critics and particularly Kimye haters would be just stand back and watch events unfold before you’re so quick to judge.
