Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith’s precocious daughter Willow seems to be walking in her parents’ footsteps, not only wowing her fans with her unique fashion sense but also becoming a celeb in her own right. The latest issue of V Magazine features Willow in an edgy editorial photographed by Karl Lagerfeld modelling DSquared jeans, Tommy Hilfiger underwear, and Moncler x Pharrell sunglasses as she poses in front of a Rolls-Royce Phantom.
Modelling, of course, is only one of Willow’s pursuits as the young star is building a career in acting and singing as well. In the interview she also discusses the reason why she turned down the titular role in the upcoming remake of Annie.
“I just wanted to chill, and be at home, and decompress, and just find out what I wanna do and where I stand on this planet, with the little tiny place we have.[…]I just feel like I want to do it different than the world’s ready for. I’m enjoying just being independent and doing my own thing,” said the young star.
The “Whip My Hair” hitmaker also talked about her unique style and working with Lagerfeld:
I can never tell what I’m gonna wear. I kind of just put on whatever feels right. Sometimes that’s Converse and a T-shirt, sometimes it’s Givenchy heels and leather pants.”
“[Karl] very, very friendly and open. I thought he was gonna be really mysterious, like peering over his glasses, evaluating. But he was just awesome. I don’t have words, because he’s such a huge icon.”
On Monday, Willow also dropped a collaboration with her brother Jaden called “5.”
