German fast-rising fashion model Nur Hellmann is featured in and African style inspired editorial for Vanity Fair Italia’s April 2014 issue. Titled “Africa And The City”, the editorial is photographed by Kenneth Willardt and styled by Elisabetta Dal Bello.
The Vanity Fair April 2014 editorial showcases Spring’s bold African prints and stripes. In the editorial, the gorgeous Nur Hellmann is seen in a number of stylish high fashion brands such as Louis Vuitton, Celine, Prada, Versace, Burberry, Ralph Launren and more mixed with street style brands like Adidas. The street style meets high fashion brand editorial is done in a splurge of colours.
It would have been nice to see a couple of African brands or more obvious African prints but while the focus of the editorial is on tribal prints, not a lot of the prints used can be called African prints.
A couple of shots also show Nur Hellman in turbans to further invoke the “African” idea of the editorial.
