The First Lady Michelle Obama is becoming one of the most influential style icons of our time so it’s no surprise that she is to appear on the cover of Ebony Magazine’s May 2012 issue.
But looking at the cover, it could have been the May 2000 issue! Michelle of course looks stunning elegant and gorgeous, but surely something a little more modern could have been picked out.
The plain blue dress, safe indoor setting and matchy matchy blue earrings don’t exactly scream 2012. We will have to wait and see what other pictures of Michelle appear in the issue, but I hope they are a bit more edgy and show us another side of Michelle.
