BELVEDERE VODKA

Belvedere Vodka threw a series of brilliant parties over the weekend at ARISE Magazine Fashion Week, playing host to fashion industry royalty and the hip crowd that converged in Lagos to see the best of fashion from around the African continent.

TOKINI PETERSIDE

At the Federal Palace Hotel, fashion-enthusiasts shuttled between runway shows in the Arise Magazine and This Day Style tents. And in prime position between the two show tents, was the Belvedere Vodka Marquee.

ADAORA AND CHIKA OLEH

The Belvedere Vodka Marquee opened every evening at 6pm to VIP guests during the fashion week, and became the chill-out hub for the it-crowd that turned out to see the evening fashion shows and concerts.

KABIR AND AVINASH WADHWANI

On Friday night, just before the Jewel by Lisa and Tiffany Amber fashion shows, the Belvedere Vodka Marquee opened for the first time to an excited audience. VIP guests within the marquee marvelled at the all-white lounge, which had been meticulously assembled by the Belvedere Vodka team with creative direction by Temple Muse.

DESIGNERS NKWO ONWUKA AND ANITA QUANSAH

A pure white backdrop set the mood for the lounge, which featured dramatic floral centrepieces, silver crystal chandeliers and a stunning light projection of the Belvedere castle. Dotted around the white lounge were pristine white mannequins in pieces fresh off the catwalk that were alternated on a daily basis. The mannequins were part of an innovative and interactive fashion installation created by Temple Muse together with Style House Files. The installation featured designs by Eki Orleans, Nkwo, Tsemaye Binitie, Christie Brown, Maki Oh, Jewel by Lisa, and a breath-taking centrepiece mannequin draped in cascading jewellery pieces by Anita Quansah.

HELEN JENNINGS AND NDUKA OBAIGBENA

Guests within the Belvedere Vodka Marquee enjoyed delicious Belvedere cocktails throughout the evening on all 3 nights, including the Belvedere Vodka Apple-tini, the Belvedere Blue Cosmopolitan, ‘the Muse’ and ‘the Arise’. The latter was a melange of cranberry, orange, lemon and Belvedere vodka, providing the perfect toast to ARISE Magazine’s laudable attempt to fuse 50 African designers in one big splash.

NKEM UWAJE AND SISTERS

At ARISE Magazine Fashion Week, Belvedere Vodka hosted international superstar Estelle; Wale Tinubu of Oando; This Day Chairman Nduka Obaigbena; ARISE Magazine editor Helen Jennings; blues maestro Keziah Jones; fashion designers including Alexander Amosu, Ituen Basi, Maki Oh and Eki Orleans; gorgeous models fresh off the runway; fashionable trendsetters Oroma Elewa, Uche Eze, Funke Fowler, Tive and Toke Ibru and more.

OYINKAN GEORGE-OBRIEN

With the beats from Temple Muse and DJ Caise’s funky house mixes being heard as far as the Federal Palace Hotel entrance, the vibe in the Belvedere Vodka Marquee on all 3 nights at ARISE Magazine Fashion Week was unbeatable.

Really nice images. I thought the Arise fashion Week was more of fashion shows and not parties. Looked like fun.
