One of 2011’s most exciting new artists Bluey Robinson is giving us more of his soulful style in a new single titled “Coming Back”. The track, released November 6th, is the anitithesis to 90% of chart-fodder incorporating live instruments giving it an air of Gnarls Barkley and Mark Ronson whilst still keeping Bluey’s signature style.

The song is written by Wayne Hector who has also written for the likes of JLS, Britney Spears and James Morrison. He describes the song as having and “old skool feel with a new skool swagger.”

“It’s a song about heading out and chasing your dreams,” he says.  “‎But letting the people who you love the most know that you’ll come back for them.”

Bluey who caught the world’s attention with his performance on This Morning, brilliantly balances the line between commercial and credible. It’s impossible to not be won over by his Bluey’s skilled songwriting, ear-grabbing melodies and killer choruses.

With over 1.5million Youtube views, over 60,000 twitter followers and an army of celebrity fans including boxer David Haye and fashionista Nicole Farhi, Bluey is definitely one to watch. Still only at the beginning of his career, Bluey already has a string of live performances under his belt -including supporting Tinie Tempah, Justin Bieber and Alexis Jordan as well as a show stopping performance at this year’s iTunes festival.
