As a part of Southbank Centre’s Bloom Festival, Association of Dance of the African Diaspora (ADAD) presents a night of “rhythm-drive dance from the African Diaspora.
The event takes place on the 24th and 25th of September and will have performances from Vocab Dance, Ballet Nimba and Maxwell Dance Project. It will alos feauture the London premiere of the Norway-based African and Caribbean company Tabanka Crew, who were finalists on Norway’s Got Talent.
There will be talks, films and workshops as well as performances during the two days of this event.
The Bloom festival has been described as “a cultural explosion of movement, energy, live music and traditional costume in celebration of Africa.” It’s an event not to be missed.
