Viva La Resistance (NG)
What happened when designer Mo Alatise took a trip to Abeokuta? She was inspired by the town’s beautiful sand hills which sparked a creatively impressive collection, fusing the past and present of the locally made Adire fabric. Mo presented a daring construction of wax print Adire, lace, velvet and “real enough” Ostrich feathers. Layering, structure and experimenting all made with a palette of strong black, sandy yellows and warm oranges.
