Lagos is ready for The Genevieve Pink Ball taking place this Saturday, 18 October 2014. As celebrities, no doubt, are putting the finishing touches to their outfits for this evening’s red carpet, we can’t help but have a throwback to some of the top pink looks we have seen on the Nigerian red carpets over the years. From Tiwa Savage to Rita Dominic, Nigerian women know how to rock pink, and rock it well, whether it is a Diane Von Furstenberg LPD (Little Pink Dress of course) or traditional iro and buba. Without further ado, here are the Pink Ladies and their FAB pink looks.

Isio Wanogho

At TW Magazine’s 7th aniversary party, Isio Wanogho looked absolutely stunning in this fitted hot pink dress featuring the super on-trend off-the-shoulder neckline.

Mo Cheddah

Diminutive rapper Mo Cheddah was another name who opted for pink at the TW party, but her choice was a peachy pink mermaid dress which showed off her enviable figure and was accessorised just right with a little sparkle.

Tiwa Savage

It seems Mrs. Tee Billz is one lady who can’t get enough of pink and we cannot get enough of her in pink. From the androgynous chic in a peachy Bridget Awosika trouser suite to hot pink DVF to high shine pink, she works all tones and styles. But we had to pick one it would be the trouser suit for her out-of-the-box thinking.

The third edition of The Genevieve Pink Ball will take place this Saturday, 18th of October 2014 at 6.30pm at the prestigious beach-front event center THE DORCHESTER  located at 288 Ligali Ayorinde Street, VI.

Yvonne ‘Vixen’ Ekwere

TV personality more popularly know as ‘Vixen’ worked the 2013 Butterscotch Event in a liquid pink dress with tulle detail on the hem – and boy did she look fab!

Rita Dominic

Nollywood actress looks FAB in pink and she knows it. Whether it is wedding trad paired with a flamboyant gele or a mermaid red carpet dress, the actress always always dazzles in pink.

DJ Toolz

From high shine liquid pink showing off her banging body to a more demure blush number accessorised with strappy black heels and a black Chanel bag, Toolz shows us she is a truly Pink Lady.

Lami Phillips

Lami has recently been experimenting with edgier looks so this one is a major throwback to 2013 where she opted for floor-length hot pink dress which draped over her so beautifully that she looked princess perfect. The songbird still kept it edgy though, pairing her pink dress to her red hair. Who ever says pink and red don’t go together?

Another songbird who stunned in pink is Waje with this fab DVF dress in hot pink she wore at the Maybelline Nigeria launch. Waje paired her dress with a print clutch and cobalt blue heels for maximum impact.

Elohor Aisien

Elohor Aisien shows us how to do classy and grown-up pink in this long fitted Roland Mouret hot pink number she wore at Miss Nigeria 2013.

In June 2014, to show her support for African fashion at the launch of The FAB Shop, Sasha graced the black carpet in a pink and white iro and buba. Perfect match with her box braid and pink lippy! She accessorised the look with white court shoes and beige bag.

Mo Abudu

Mo Abudu dazzled in a hot pink traditional look in lace and satin accessorise with a delicate gele, pink heels and burgundy clutch at Senator Florence Ita Giwa’s daughter Koko’s wedding in September 2014.

Grace Egbagbe

The ever stylish Grace Egbagbe was another one of Senator Ita Giwa’s guest who dazzled in pink, her choice a hot pink mullet hemline dress accessorised with a gorgeous hat and silver clutch and heels.

Damilola Adegbite

The Flower Girl star Dmilola Adegbite looked totally stunning at AMVCA 2013 in sequin high shine baby pink dress with a plunging neckline.

Dolapo Oni

Dolapo also opted for a sequin pink dress at the AMVCA 2013 and looked dazzling with bare shoulders and hair swept back.

Toke Makinwa

Toke is another Nigerian lady who can pull off pink perfectly. We just love how unfussy this dress by Vonne Couture is, and while there is no flesh flashing except Toke’s teasingly bare left shoulder, this look is one hell of sexy!
