The second day of the first edition of Ghana Fashion & Design week already felt like a second edition; the quality of the collections shown during this second day was very much on a similar level and the models were walking accordingly.
Brigitte Merki (Ghana) was the first to show her collection. The most striking creation was a long overcoat with puffed shoulders that was combined with high in the waist, oversized and 20s inspired trousers.
The second to show was Mina Evans (Ghana). Sticking to her designing signature, Mina used details from her previous collections like tule and tie-dye and combined these with beautifully pleated and folded fabric details. Besides the fabric use the overall collection was very much designed according to the latest trends in fashion.
