In a world first, Big Brother Hotshots are revealing the Housemates before the launch of Africa’s biggest reality show on Sunday, 5 October.
Although lips are still sealed on what the ninth season will bring viewers, we can reveal that three of the Housemates are Alusa from Kenya, Butterphly from Zimbabwe and Ellah from Uganda.
One thing these three Housemates have in common is that they are used to the spotlight. Alusa is an actor and producer, Butterphly is a radio and TV presenter and Ellah was crowned Miss Uganda last year.

The new and undoubtedly glamourous Big Brother house is in the process of being designed and fitted with cutting edge camera equipment and broadcast technology that makes the show unique in its format.
After the launch, Big Brother Hotshots will screen 24/7 on DStv channels 197 and 198. Viewers can also see daily highlight shows and the live evictions on AfricaMagic Family,AfricaMagic Showcase, AfricaMagic World and Maisha Magic.
